Saltley, Birmingham
£89 - £100 per day
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience required for this position is experience in a similar position or 5 days in sole charge of a group of children in the last 5 years.

ABC Teachers is seeking motivated and adaptable Classroom Supervisors to work in a variety of well-regarded secondary schools in Saltley and the surrounding areas from September 2025. This is an ideal opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers or experienced cover supervisors looking to develop their classroom management skills and make a positive impact on students’ learning. The schools you’ll be working with are inclusive, community-focused and committed to providing a supportive learning environment for all students. Role:
Flexible full-time or part-time Classroom Supervisor roles starting September 2025
Supervising lessons during teacher absence, ensuring students stay on task
Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
Supporting students with their work when required
Providing feedback to teachers on student progress and behaviour
Requirements
The successful Classroom Supervisor will have;
Previous experience working with young people is desirable
Strong communication and classroom management skills
A calm and flexible approach
A genuine interest in education and supporting secondary students
Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
*All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
