GSL Education are looking for a supportive and dedicated Classroom Support Assistant to join a specialist school in Bournemouth. This role offers the chance to contribute directly to the learning and development of young people with complex needs in a nurturing environment. As a Classroom Support Assistant, you will work alongside teachers and therapists to support students throughout the school day, helping to deliver personalised learning plans and promoting a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere. What you have to as a Classroom Support Assistant: Support teachers in delivering lessons tailored to the needs of students with learning difficulties. Assist students individually or in small groups to engage with classroom activities. Help manage behaviour and promote positive social interactions. Support with personal care and mobility tasks when necessary. Work collaboratively with the whole school team to support student progress. Maintain a safe, respectful, and encouraging learning environment. Requirements: Experience working with children or young people with additional needs as a Classroom Support Assistant. CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ Level 2/3 in Teaching Assistance, Childcare, or Health & Social Care is desirable. A patient, flexible, and empathetic approach. Good communication and teamwork skills.
