Job Description

Hays are recruiting for a Full-Time Cleaner to work at HMP Hull.This is a long-term temporary position, offering consistent hours and a stable working environment within a secure public sector facility.

The Role
You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic environment across designated areas of the prison estate.
Duties will include:

General cleaning of offices, communal areas and welfare facilities
Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming
Dusting and sanitising touchpoints
Washroom and welfare cleaning
Waste removal and disposal
Ensuring cleaning standards are maintained throughout the site
Following all health and safety proceduresWorking Hours - 39 hours per week
Monday to Thursday (Apply online only)

What We're Looking For

Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience
Reliable and punctual approach
Ability to work independently
Awareness of health and safety procedures
Ability to pass prison security clearanceBenefits
