Cleaner

Derby, DE24

Temporary Contract

Join Gi Group and become part of a friendly, supportive team that takes real pride in delivering high standards. We're recruiting Cleaners for our client in Derby (DE24), where your work is valued and you'll be supported to succeed in a positive, team-focused environment.

Please note: The successful candidate will be required to complete a basic DBS check.

Cleaner Shifts:

* Monday - Friday

* 06:00 to 14:30

Cleaner Pay Rate:

* £13.45 per hour

Cleaner Key Responsibilities:

* Sweep, mop, and vacuum production floors, walls, and surfaces

* Clean and sanitize machinery, equipment, and workstations

* Waste management (emptying bins, segregating materials)

* Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, changing areas, and offices

* Safely handle, dilute, and store industrial cleaning chemicals

* Report any maintenance issues or health/safety hazards

Cleaner Skills & Requirements:

* Experience in commercial/industrial cleaning preferred

* Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment (e.g. pressure washers, polishers)

* Attention to detail and ability to work independently or within a team

* Understanding of safety protocols (COSHH, GMP)

* Successful candidate will be required to complete a basic DBS check
