Job Description
Commerical Cleaner
Fulford, York
£12.21 per hour
Hours: Split Shift – 6:00am–8:00am and 2:00pm–7:00pm (rotated within these hours)
35 Hours a week
About the Role:
We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join a friendly team at a local school in Fulford, York. This is a commercial cleaning role within an educational setting, keeping classrooms, corridors, toilets and communal areas clean and safe.
This is a split shift role, with working hours between 6am–8am and 2pm–7pm, based on a rota. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity for the right person.
Key Responsibilities:
* General cleaning of classrooms, offices, toilets and communal areas
* Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and emptying bins
* Restocking cleaning supplies as needed
* Following all health and safety procedures
* Reporting any maintenance or safety issues
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous cleaning experience (ideally in schools or commercial settings)
* Solid work experience
* Someone who wants a full time, permanent job
* Good attention to detail
* Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
* Able to pass a DBS check (or already holds one)
