Job Description
Riverside Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client for a dedicated and reliable cleaner to work alongside an established team at Tebay, Penrith. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various areas within a service station including Toilets, Floors and Public Areas. As a cleaner, your role is crucial in creating a safe, pleasant, and productive environment for all customers, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitise all common areas, restrooms, kitchens, walkways.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces.
Ensure waste is disposed of properly and recycling protocols are followed.
Restock cleaning supplies and report any shortages.
Ensure cleaning equipment is maintained and in working condition.
Handle and dispose of cleaning materials safely and according to guidelines.
Perform additional cleaning duties as required.Qualifications:
Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential – full training will be provided.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
Good time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
Reliable, responsible, and punctual.Benefits:
£13.20p/h
Flexible working hours - Working hours will vary between 10am and 9pm Monday to Sunday.
