School Cleaner – Mansfield & Surrounding Areas
Pay: From £13.69 per hour

At Provide Education & Teachers UK, we are committed to connecting skilled professionals with schools that prioritise creating exceptional learning environments. We are currently seeking reliable and enthusiastic School Cleaners to work at partnered schools across Mansfield and surrounding areas.
Job Overview:
As a School Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for pupils, staff, and visitors. This role is essential in ensuring that schools remain a pleasant and safe place for learning and work.
Key Responsibilities:
*
Clean and sanitise classrooms, corridors, offices, and communal areas.
*
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors.
*
Disinfect washrooms and restock supplies (e.g., soap, toilet paper).
*
Empty bins and dispose of waste and recyclables appropriately.
*
Clean windows, mirrors, doors, and other surfaces.
*
Carry out periodic deep cleaning duties such as carpet and floor maintenance.
What We’re Looking For:
*
Previous cleaning experience (ideally in a school or similar setting) is desirable but not essential.
*
Understanding of cleaning equipment and chemicals is advantageous.
*
Good attention to detail and ability to work independently.
*
Punctual, reliable, and proactive.
Working Hours:
*
Monday to Friday: 5:30am – 8:30am
*
Monday to Friday: 3:00pm – 6:00pm
Ideally, candidates will be available for both shifts, but we welcome applicants who can commit to just one.
Requirements:

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
