Location: Wandsworth Road, Nine Elms, London SW8
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Saturday, 5:00am – 12:00pm (35 hours per week)
Pay Frequency: Every 4th Friday
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and proactive Cleaning Manager to oversee operations at a large retail superstore in the Nine Elms area. This is a hands-on management role, responsible for leading a team, ensuring high standards, and maintaining a positive relationship with the site client.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and support a team of cleaning operatives and supervisors
*
Oversee delivery of the daily cleaning schedule to agreed specifications
*
Plan rotas, manage holiday/sickness cover, and monitor staffing levels
*
Carry out audits, resolve issues, and maintain accurate documentation
*
Ensure safe use and maintenance of cleaning equipment and materials
*
Oversee training and development of all cleaning staff
*
Monitor performance, conduct appraisals, and support continuous improvement
*
Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety and COSHH policies
*
Liaise with senior site management and work collaboratively with other service providers
Requirements
*
Previous cleaning management or supervisory experience
*
Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
*
Ability to carry out physical elements of the role
*
High attention to detail and a commitment to quality service

Proactive, professional and flexible attitude
