Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to support the cleaning operations in Burgh Heath. This is a temporary opportunity with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Location: Burgh Heath, KT18
Hours: 25 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 16:00 – 21:00
Pay Rate: £17.00 – £19.00 per hour (via Umbrella)

Key Responsibilities of a Cleaning Supervisor:

  * 

    Supervising and coordinating the evening cleaning team across the site

  * 

    Organising team workloads to ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and to a high standard

  * 

    Monitoring stock levels and ordering cleaning materials through approved suppliers

  * 

    Ensuring all equipment is maintained, serviced, and safe to use

  * 

    Reporting and removing any faulty or unsafe equipment

  * 

    Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH, hygiene standards, and fire safety procedures

  * 

    Identifying and addressing hazards across the site to maintain a safe working environment

  * 

    Supporting, motivating, and developing team members to maintain high performance

Requirements of Cleaning Supervisor:

  * 

    Previous cleaning or facilities experience, ideally within a corporate or commercial environment

  * 

    Supervisory or team leadership experience within cleaning operations

  * 

    Good knowledge of professional cleaning practices, COSHH, and Health & Safety procedures

  * 

    Strong organisational and communication skills

  * 

    Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and lead a team effectively

  * 

    Flexible and proactive approach to work
