Job Description

Role Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations across multiple sites in Chester and West Cheshire. This is a temporary 3–4 month contract, responsible for supervising cleaning teams, maintaining high standards, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across all allocated locations.

A company van will be provided; however, a full UK driving licence is essential due to travel between sites.

Key Responsibilities

  * Supervise and support cleaning operatives across multiple sites

  * Carry out regular site inspections to ensure cleaning standards are maintained

  * Allocate daily tasks and manage team workloads effectively

  * Train, support, and motivate cleaning staff

  * Ensure all cleaning work is completed to a high standard and within deadlines

  * Monitor and request cleaning supplies and materials when required

  * Respond professionally to client and site feedback

  * Ensure full compliance with health & safety procedures and company standards

  * Travel between Chester and West Cheshire sites using company vehicle

Requirements

  * Previous experience in a Cleaning Supervisor or Team Leader role

  * Strong leadership and organisational skills

  * Good communication and problem-solving abilities

  * Full UK driving licence (essential)

  * Ability to travel between multiple sites

  * Knowledge of cleaning standards and health & safety regulations
