Job Description

Location: Milton Keynes Salary: £15.00 p/h Are you passionate about creating clean, safe, and welcoming environments? We’re looking for a dedicated and experienced Cleaning Team Leader to support our Site/Account Manager in delivering the highest-quality cleaning service at our clients high-tech, state of the art site. This client is a world leader in their industry, including in technology and innovation. This is a hands-on role where you’ll lead by example, ensuring standards are consistently met, staff are well-trained, and client relationships are nurtured. As Cleaning Team Leader, you’ll: * Lead cleaning staff across the operation, ensuring high standards are consistently met and supporting team members with training, induction, and daily guidance. * Monitor attendance, uniform compliance, and conduct, ensuring all staff represent the company professionally and respectfully. * Carry out cleaning duties when needed, including cover cleaning, and assist with project work and audits. * Promote a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with health and safety policies, reporting incidents, and supporting staff wellbeing. * Liaise with clients and managers, maintain site records, and ensure effective communication across teams. * Manage supplies, submit accurate paperwork, and support recruitment and onboarding of new staff. As Cleaning Team Leader, you’ll have: * Experience leading cleaning teams across operation, providing clear guidance, training, and inclusive onboarding. * Experience monitoring staff attendance, conduct, and uniform compliance, promoting a respectful and professional working environment for all team members. * Be an experienced cleaner, stepping in to carry out cleaning duties when needed, and support with project work, audits, and quality checks to maintain service excellence. * Experience ensuring safe working practices are followed, report incidents promptly, and support staff wellbeing through proactive communication and training. * Experience liaising with clients and managers, maintain accurate site records, and foster open, respectful communication across teams. * Experience managing supplies, complete paperwork accurately, and assist with recruitment and induction to keep operations running smoothly.
