Location: Chelmsford, Essex
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Shift Patterns: Alternating shift pattern - Earlies and Lates
A leading global technology company is seeking a Processing Operator to join its advanced manufacturing team. This organisation develops specialised components and subsystems used in cutting-edge applications across medical, scientific, aerospace, defence, and industrial sectors.
About the Role
As a Processing Operator, you will be responsible for producing high-performance imaging devices. This role is based in a cleanroom environment and requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to strict quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor processing equipment with accuracy
Maintain detailed production records and report progress to supervisors
Perform inspections using microscopes
Handle chemicals safely as part of specific manufacturing processes
Ensure timely output of devices while meeting quality and safety standardsRequirements
Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability
Excellent attention to detail and quality focus
Ability to multitask in a complex, fast-paced environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment
Willingness to work alternating shifts:
Week 1: 06:00-14:00 (Mon-Thu), 06:00-13:30 (Fri)
Week 2: 13:30-21:30 (Mon-Thu), 13:30-21:00 (Fri)
Day Shifts (optional):
07:30-15:30 (Mon-Thu), 07:30-14:45 (Fri)What's on Offer
