Clerk of Works Job in London
Clerk of Works job working for a leading consultancy on residential projects across South London. This is a 6-month contract with the potential to move into a permanent role, paying a day rate of £200 - £350. Candidates must have experience conducting stock condition surveys and a keen eye for detail.
Our client is a well-established consultancy supporting over 5,000 active clients across the UK and internationally. Known for their straight-talking and forward-thinking approach, they provide professional services across a wide range of disciplines. Due to an increase in project demand, they are now looking to strengthen their London-based team with an experienced Clerk of Works.
Role & Responsibilities
Conduct thorough stock condition surveys within occupied homes, assessing the overall conditions
Accurately assess and record the condition of each property in line with HHSRS standards
Provide clear, detailed reports outlining any defects or areas requiring improvement
Ensure data collected supports the wider asset management and compliance strategies
Maintain a professional and consistent standard of service throughout all works
Liaise with clients, residents and colleagues in a respectful and clear manner.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience carrying out stock condition surveys
Strong knowledge of HHSRS assessment criteria
CSCS card is essential
MICWCI/ICWCI preferred
Full UK driving licence.
