Are you an ambitious Client Accountant looking to take the next step in your career? Our client, a dynamic and expanding Global Accounting team within Governance Services, is seeking a skilled Client Accountant to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your professional expertise by working across a diverse portfolio of clients and handling a variety of technical accounting tasks.
The Role:
As a Client Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting services to a broad range of client entities. Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing and reviewing client financial statements under UK GAAP, IFRS, and FRS 102
Assisting with the audit process for client accounts
Producing periodic reports, capital account statements, and net asset valuations
Maintaining accurate accounting records in client databases such as Viewpoint, QuickBooks, and Yardi
Collaborating with colleagues and clients to meet deadlines and manage expectations
Developing a detailed understanding of client transactions while working closely with your line manager
Ensuring consistent, high-standard accounting service delivery
Building strong relationships with clients, auditors, and third-party providers
About You:
You are either part-qualified (ACCA/ACA) or have equivalent relevant experience with up-to-date technical knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
Practical experience with accounting systems, particularly Viewpoint and QuickBooks, is highly desirable
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Highly organised, able to work under pressure, and deliver accurate results on time
Professional, proactive, and service-oriented with excellent judgement and discretion
