Job Description

Client Project Manager  Highways & Utilities (Major Infrastructure Diversions) Old Oak Common UK’s Largest Future Railway Station | NEC3 | Civil & Highways Focus We’re seeking a Client Side Project Manager to support major off site infrastructure diversion works connected to the development of what will become the UK’s largest railway station, based in London. This role sits within an Integrated Project Team (IPT), working in a thin client model alongside Tier 1 contractors. The focus is on the planning and delivery of complex off site works including: Lowering and rebuilding highway bridges (to accommodate double-decker buses) Demolition and reconstruction of multiple bridge structures Installation of retaining walls and utility mini-tunnels Diversions and upgrades of major utilities Highway realignments and public realm improvements You will act on behalf of the client, fulfilling NEC3 Project Manager duties, supporting the delivery of scope, cost, programme and risk objectives across the full project lifecycle. Requirements Proven experience in highways, bridges, or civil engineering infrastructure projects Experience working in complex stakeholder environments (e.g. TfL, Network Rail, Crossrail) Strong commercial awareness and contract management knowledge (particularly NEC3) Formal qualification in Project Management – aligned to APM PMQ / PRINCE2 / PMP Able to operate within an integrated team delivering major programmes Experience across planning, procurement, and delivery phases Ideal Candidate If you’ve managed complex highways, bridge renewals, or utilities diversions especially within urban, multi-agency environments  and are confident leading works under NEC3 contract models, this is an outstanding opportunity to work on one of the UK’s most high profile rail projects
