My client, a specialist in premium architectural metalwork, is looking for a Client Projects & CAD Design Manager to join their team.
About the Company
My client is a well-established fabrication business with over 30 years’ experience delivering bespoke architectural metalwork across the UK and Europe. They combine precision engineering with creative design to deliver outstanding, custom-made solutions. Working with high-profile clients and projects, they have built a strong reputation for quality, technical expertise, and customer service.
The Role
This position blends CAD design expertise with project and client management.
You’ll:

Meet with clients on-site to discuss their requirements and take accurate measurements.

Review or obtain architectural plans and translate client briefs into precise CAD drawings.
*
Work closely with our fabrication team to ensure designs are delivered to specification.
*
Manage any design changes during projects, keeping clients updated every step of the way.
*
Build strong, long-term client relationships with a focus on outstanding service.
*
Provide post-installation support and ensure customer satisfaction.
No two days are the same – you’ll be working on bespoke, high-spec projects across the UK, requiring flexibility, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills.
What We’re Looking For

Proven experience with CAD design (essential).

Background in fabrication, engineering, or architectural metalwork (hands-on or managerial).
*
Strong client-facing and communication skills, with the ability to manage high-end client relationships.

A proactive, adaptable approach, with a willingness to travel across the UK.

Excellent organisational skills to handle multiple bespoke projects at once.
