Job Description

ROLE: Clinical Deputy Manager LOCATION: Carmarthen SALARY: £42,520.40 HOURS: Hours: 36 hours per week (12 hours per week on the floor as a nurse) The home is a 20 bedded purpose built nursing services for people with physical disabilities and complex health care conditions based just outside Carmarthen. You will support the manager in leading and supervising a large staff team to deliver the highest standards of care. This role is central in maintaining and further developing our care principles, which centre on 'wellness, happiness, and kindness'. You will work with the local community, GP's and professionals to deliver care that truly enables residents to continue to lead as full a life as possible. Requirements: * Nurse Qualified with a valid NMC Pin * Previous experience as a Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead or Senior Nurse * Experience of supporting service users with Physical Disabilities * A strong knowledge of person-centred care * Working closely with each resident, assessing their needs and delivering a care plan that helps each person to live a fuller life * You’ll provide the very best levels of care, make sure that all procedures are carried out to the highest of standards and optimising the wellbeing of every resident Responsibilities * Oversee daily operations and ensure high standards of patient care are maintained. * Develop and implement individualized care plans in compliance with NMC guidelines. * Supervise and support nursing staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. * Manage patient assessments and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal care delivery. * Provide guidance in specialized areas such as dementia and hospice care, ensuring best practices are followed. * Maintain accurate documentation and facilitate effective communication with patients and families
