Clinical/Forensic/Counselling Psychologist Location: Cranborne, Dorset Salary: £47,736 – £65,270.40 per annum Hours: 40 hours per week Contract: Full-time, Permanent About the Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and qualified Psychologist (Clinical, Forensic, or Counselling) to join a vibrant and collaborative multidisciplinary team at a specialist independent school in Cranborne, Dorset. Set within a stunning 16-acre listed garden and part of a wider 50-acre countryside campus, this school provides an exceptional working environment. The school supports young people aged 11–16 with a range of additional learning needs, including autism, through high-quality education and integrated therapy. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, holistic setting and wants to make a real difference in young people’s lives. The Role: As a Psychologist, you will: Deliver specialist psychological assessments and evidence-based therapeutic interventions (individual and group). Provide psychological insight and strategies to support young people’s emotional, cognitive, and behavioural development. Collaborate as part of a well-established multidisciplinary team (MDT), including Psychiatry, Occupational Therapy, and Speech and Language Therapy. Offer guidance and training to staff to promote understanding of complex needs and support greater independence among students. Supervise Assistant Psychologists and contribute to service development within a forward-thinking clinical setting.
