Job Description
Join a supportive and growing team delivering exceptional community care services with Nurseline Community Services, part of Catalyst Care Group. As a Clinical Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring individuals with complex health needs receive safe, high-quality, person-centered care while supporting and developing our healthcare teams.
About the Role
In this role as a Clinical Lead, you will provide expert clinical oversight for complex community care packages, acting as the named professional for assigned cases. The role involves conducting clinical assessments, designing responsive care plans, managing risk, and championing compliance, safeguarding, and clinical governance. You will also lead training, assess staff competencies, coach colleagues, and collaborate with families, commissioners, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver seamless care pathways. Participation in an on-call rota is part of the role.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide clinical leadership and oversight for complex community care packages
* Conduct assessments and develop person-centered care plans
* Maintain clinical governance, compliance, and safeguarding standards
* Deliver and assess clinical training and staff competencies
* Support and mentor nursing teams to build confidence and capability
About You
* Active NMC registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN)
* At least 3 years’ post-registration experience, ideally within complex care or community settings
* Proven experience managing complex care interventions (e.g., tracheostomy, PEG/PEJ feeding, seizure management, catheter care)
* Previous experience as a Clinical Lead or senior nurse with supervisory responsibilities
* Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, clinical governance, and safeguarding practices
* Experience delivering and assessing clinical training and staff competencies
* Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills
* Ability to work under pressure, prioritize effectively, and maintain high standards
* A valid UK driving license and willingness to travel across community care packages
