An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Clinical Lead (RGN/RMN) to join a well-established and highly rated 70-bed nursing home in Waltham Abbey.
The home delivers high-quality general nursing and dementia care, with a strong, supportive management team and a ‘Good’ CQC rating across all areas. This is a key leadership role ideal for a nurse who enjoys balancing clinical practice with team leadership and operational input.
🔹 The Role:
*
40 hours per week, split between clinical shifts and supernumerary (non-clinical) leadership duties
*
Support the Home Manager with clinical governance, staff mentoring, and regulatory compliance
*
Lead by example on the floor, ensuring the delivery of safe, person-centred care
*
Oversee medication management, care plans, risk assessments, and audits
*
Be a point of contact for residents, families, and staff – ensuring consistent, high-quality support
✅ Requirements:
*
Active NMC registration (RGN or RMN)
*
Previous experience in a senior nurse or clinical lead role
*
Strong knowledge of CQC standards and best practices in elderly care
*
Confident in staff supervision, care planning, and quality improvement initiatives
*
Excellent communication and leadership skills
