Clinical Lead – Elderly Nursing & Dementia Care
📍 Penzance
💷 £45,766 – £48,516 per annum (DOE)
🕒 37.5 hours per week | Mon–Fri (some flexibility required)

🌟 About the Role:
We are seeking a Clinical Lead to oversee and enhance the clinical care provided within our cleints 80-bed home, which includes general nursing, residential, respite, and specialist dementia services. Working closely with the Home Manager, you’ll lead a team of dedicated nurses and care professionals, ensuring that high standards of care are consistently maintained.
Key responsibilities include:

Providing clinical leadership and guidance to nursing and care staff
*
Supporting with assessments, care planning, medication management, and compliance
*
Leading on safeguarding, audits, and care quality improvements
*
Liaising with residents, families, GPs, and external professionals
*
Ensuring best practice is followed in line with CQC regulations and internal policies
*
Promoting a positive and compassionate environment for residents and staff
👤 About You:
*
NMC-registered Nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) with an active PIN
*
Previous experience in a senior nursing or clinical leadership role (e.g. Deputy Manager, Unit Manager, Clinical Lead)
*
Strong understanding of elderly care and dementia best practices
*
Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
*
Flexible and committed to supporting the home across occasional evenings or weekends as needed
