Clinical Lead Nurse – Complex Care
Location: Bedford (on-site)
Salary: Up to £48,000 per annum + benefits

Are you an experienced Clinical Lead or Registered Nurse with a background in complex care or learning disabilities?
Our client, a leading healthcare provider delivering exceptional, person-centred community care across the UK, is seeking a passionate and clinically confident Clinical Lead Nurse to oversee a supported living complex care service based in Bedford.
This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse looking to step into a leadership role where your expertise will directly influence care quality, staff development, and client outcomes.
The Role
As the Clinical Lead Nurse, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care. You’ll provide leadership to care teams, support service managers, and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary professionals to ensure each client receives the best possible support for their complex health needs.
You will:
* Lead and mentor a team of care professionals, promoting clinical excellence.
* Conduct clinical assessments, care plan reviews, and risk management.
* Undertake medication and clinical audits to maintain compliance and best practice.
* Deliver training, clinical supervision, and competency assessments for staff.
* Liaise with MDTs, families, and external professionals to ensure cohesive care.
* Participate in audits, quality reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Provide clinical oversight and out-of-hours escalation support as part of the wider team.
About You
You’ll be a compassionate and confident clinician who thrives in a hands-on leadership role. You’ll combine a strong clinical background with the ability to motivate, guide, and support care teams delivering services to adults with complex care needs.
Essential requirements:
* Registered Nurse (Adult or LD) with valid NMC registration.
* Experience in complex care and/or supporting individuals with learning disabilities.
* Proven community nursing experience.
* Strong knowledge of CQC standards and person-centred care principles.
* Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel between sites.
