Job Title: Clinical Negligence Solicitor
Location: Berkshire, (Hybrid)
About the Role:
Our client - a respected and long-established law firm known for its claimant work - is seeking an ambitious Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join their highly regarded team. This role offers the chance to handle quality work, progress your career, and make a genuine difference to clients at critical moments in their lives.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage your own caseload of moderate to high-value Clinical Negligence claims for claimants.
Support partners and senior solicitors with more complex and high-value matters.
Investigate and apply medical evidence to build strong cases in the client's best interest.
Ensure compliance with procedural, funding, and regulatory guidelines.
Maintain financial management of files, including WIP, disbursements, billing, and profitability, working to meet or exceed set targets.
Uphold high standards of client care, confidentiality, and professional responsibility.
Undertake other tasks as required by management.
About You:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
A valid Practising Certificate with no conditions attached.
1-8 years' post-qualification experience managing claimant Clinical Negligence matters .
A strong academic track record and proven litigation experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive matters with empathy and professionalism.
A proactive approach, with strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
Business awareness and commitment to delivering high-quality, cost-effective work.
IT literacy - familiarity with Microsoft Office and solicitors' case management systems (experience with Partner for Windows is advantageous).Hours:
35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
