Clinical Nurse – Learning Disabilities & Quality Salary: £35,000 per annum Hours: 37.5 hours per week Working pattern: Primarily Monday to Friday | Occasional on-call support required Looking for a nursing role where you can make a lasting difference? We support over 250 people across more than 35 supported living households, 3 community day hubs and a successful work programme. About the role As our Clinical Nurse – Learning Disabilities & Quality, you will use your nursing expertise to support excellent health outcomes across our services. Working alongside our Quality Team and operational colleagues, you will provide clinical guidance, promote best practice and help ensure the people we support receive safe, personalised healthcare. This role is ideal for a nurse who enjoys building relationships, improving practice and making a visible difference. What you’ll be doing: Supporting people with complex health needs and ensuring their health plans are accurate, personalised and regularly reviewed. Working with GPs, hospitals, specialist teams and other healthcare professionals to improve healthcare experiences. Supporting teams with clinical guidance, advice and development. Leading on medication safety, audits, spot checks and competency assessments. Promoting good health and wellbeing, including nutrition, hydration, mobility and epilepsy care. Monitoring changes in physical and mental health and ensuring appropriate action is taken. Using audits, information and feedback to identify improvements and strengthen quality of care. Helping staff feel confident supporting people with their health needs. About you We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable registered nurse who is passionate about improving healthcare for people with learning disabilities. You will have: Current NMC registration (RNLD, RGN or RMN). Experience supporting people with complex health needs. Knowledge and understanding of medication management and clinical safety. Confidence working with multidisciplinary teams and external healthcare professionals. A person-centred approach and a passion for supporting people to have choice and control over their health. We're particularly keen to hear from Registered Learning Disability Nurses (RNLDs), although applications from RGN and RMN nurses with relevant experience are warmly welcomed. Why join Style Acre?
