Clinical Nurse Specialist – Haematology
Birmingham
Full-Time | Permanent | 37.5 hours per week (Monday–Friday)

The Opportunity
A leading private healthcare provider in Birmingham is launching a new Haematology service and is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to help establish and develop this centre of excellence.
You will work in a state-of-the-art facility, supporting patients through complex haematology and cancer care pathways. This role offers the opportunity to influence service design, contribute to clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and research that drives innovation in haematology care.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver expert, patient-centred care to haematology patients, including those with cancer.
* Guide patients and families through complex treatment pathways with compassion and clarity.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of consultants, nurses, and allied health professionals.
* Lead and support service development, clinical audits, and quality improvement projects.
* Work autonomously and as part of a team to maintain high standards of care.
Candidate Requirements
* Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration.
* Proven experience as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Haematology, ideally with cancer care experience.
* Excellent communication and emotional intelligence skills.
* Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
