The Role:
Supporting students with a range of social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH), as well as those with behavioural challenges or additional learning needs.
Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external therapists to help implement behaviour support plans and therapeutic strategies.
Building consistent, supportive relationships with pupils, acting as a positive role model and advocate.
Gaining hands-on, practical experience that mirrors elements of clinical or therapeutic work in education settings.
