A successful global manufacturing business, supplying major OEMs across multiple industries, is seeking a skilled CMM Programmer on a contract basis. The successful professional will benefit from a competitive hourly rate (likely outside IR35) with the option of flexible hours and potential overtime on request.
CMM Programmer duties include -
Measuring products using hand-held equipment and CMM machinery.
Editing and creating new programs when required.
Identifying and reporting repeating quality concerns.
Documenting and reporting quality defects.
Maintaining systems to ensure calibration plans are easily accessible.CMM Programmer desirable skills and experience -
Experience in a similar role, e.g., Metrology Engineer or CMM Operator.
Knowledge of modern manufacturing methods and techniques.
Ability to operate and program CMM machinery, troubleshoot, and problem-solve.
Relevant mechanical engineering qualifications (HNC/HND) or training.
Familiarity with PC-DMIS software and Keyence scanners.CMM Programmer benefits include -
