Job Description

CNC Laser Operator – Bespoke Packaging Equipment

We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Laser Operator to join a busy and growing workshop team specialising in bespoke packaging equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on CNC Laser Operator with strong attention to detail and experience working to tight tolerances in a manufacturing environment.

The successful CNC Laser Operator will play a key role in preparing and producing precision components to support fabrication and assembly activities.

Key Responsibilities:

The CNC Laser Operator will read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and fabrication sketches.
Set up, nest, and operate CNC laser and press brake machinery.
Work to precise measurements and tolerances to ensure high-quality output.
Interpret and adjust machine programmes where required.
Operate workshop machinery and associated tools safely and efficiently.
Organise piece parts to ensure ease of fabrication and smooth workflow through the workshop.
Apply strong material knowledge to ensure the correct processes and handling methods are followed.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment at all times.Requirements:

Previous experience as a CNC Laser Operator or within a similar CNC / fabrication role.
Experience with machine set-up, nesting, and operation of CNC laser and press brake equipment.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and fabrication sketches.
FLT licence desirable but not essential.Why Apply?
