Job Description
Our client is a well-established precision engineering company specializing in high-quality components for industries such as aerospace, automotive, medical, and manufacturing. To support their continued growth, they are looking to hire a skilled CNC Lathe Programmer to join their production team.
Key Responsibilities
*
Program, set, and operate CNC lathes to produce precision-engineered components.
*
Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
*
Develop and optimize CNC programs to maximize efficiency and quality.
*
Conduct first-off inspections and ensure parts meet strict quality standards.
*
Adjust tooling, speeds, and feeds to achieve the desired finish and tolerances.
*
Maintain and troubleshoot CNC equipment to minimize downtime.
*
Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet customer requirements and delivery deadlines.
*
Uphold health, safety, and housekeeping standards in the workshop.
Qualifications & Experience
*
Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Programmer/Setter/Operator.
*
Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages (Fanuc, Mazak, Siemens, or similar).
*
Ability to read and work from complex engineering drawings.
*
Background in precision engineering or manufacturing.
*
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
*
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
*
Apprenticeship or vocational qualification in CNC machining or mechanical engineering is desirableBefore You Apply
