Job Title: CNC Machine Operative
Location: Nuneaton
Hours: Split Double Shift
6:00am – 2:30pm Monday to Thursday, 6:00am – 11:00am Friday
2:15pm – 10:45pm Monday to Thursday, 10:45am – 3:45pm Friday
Salary: £30,000 per annum + shift allowance
Type: Fixed Term Contract (until end of 2026)
Key Responsibilities of a CNC Machine Operative:
* Operating CNC machines to produce components to required specifications
* Loading and unloading materials and components onto machines
* Monitoring machine performance and reporting any issues
* Carrying out basic measurements using gauges, verniers, and micrometers
* Following set programmes and work instructions
* Ensuring components meet quality standards
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
* Supporting general production and manufacturing tasks as required
Key Skills of a CNC Machine Operative:
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or machining environment
* Basic understanding of CNC machinery
* Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
* Willingness to learn and develop new skills
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
