Job Description

CNC Machine operators required to start ASAP in Barnsley S75!

Shift availability 

Day shift-

Pay: £13.31 per hour to start with, up to £15.71 per hour once trained to a Grade 3 level.
 Shifts: Monday-Thursday 6am-4pm to start with, some flexibility might be needed with the shifts.

The Role:

You’ll operate a range of woodworking machinery (mainly CNC machines) to support the production of timber products. This includes setting up and running machines, loading raw materials, monitoring performance, and carrying out basic adjustments. You’ll complete regular quality checks on finished pieces, ensure measurements and cuts are accurate, and report any defects or issues. Keeping your work area tidy, safe, and machine-ready is a key part of the role.

What Our Client Is Looking For:

Machine operating experience (woodworking or manufacturing) 

Previous experience on HOMAG CNC machines desirable, but not essential

Good attention to detail and accuracy with measurements

Ability to follow safety procedures and work safely around machinery

Team player with a reliable work ethic

Willingness to be flexible with the shift timings
