CNC Machine Shop Supervisor
Location: Eye, Suffolk
Salary: £17.00 per hour
We're working with a well-established precision engineering company based in Eye, Suffolk, who are looking to appoint an experienced CNC Machine Shop Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of their busy machine shop.
This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who thrives in a technical environment and enjoys ensuring that production runs efficiently and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee daily operations of the CNC machine shop
Program, set, and operate multi-axis machining centres
Perform complex tool setups and manual component inspections
Ensure work is completed in line with technical drawings and quality standards
Carry out both milling and turning operations to a high level
Manage workflow and prioritise tasks to meet delivery schedules and business requirements
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum 5 years' experience in a CNC supervisory or team lead role
Strong background in CNC programming, setting, and operating (Fanuc controls; G & M code)
Proficient with manual and CNC machines, including lathes and mills
