CNC Machine Tool Service Engineer – Static Role
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 + overtime + benefits
This is a unique opportunity to join a world-class machine tool builder in a permanent, single-site role supporting the machine shop of a leading Formula 1 team. You'll be employed directly by the OEM, but based full-time at the F1 team's facility, acting as their on-site specialist for servicing and maintaining advanced CNC machines.
The Role:
Carry out planned and reactive servicing, fault diagnosis, and repair of high-precision CNC machine tools
Respond quickly to breakdowns and ensure machines are running at optimal performance
Work closely with on-site engineers and production teams in a fast-paced, high-standards environment
Support ongoing preventive maintenance and performance optimisation work
Serve as the key technical liaison between the OEM and the F1 team
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in servicing CNC machine tools, either in the field or as a resident/site-based engineer
Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills (multiskilled engineers welcome)
Able to work independently and manage your own priorities in a customer-facing role
Background in high-end manufacturing, machine tool service, or precision engineering environments preferred
A methodical approach, good communication skills, and a strong eye for detail
