Job Description
Kenect Recruitment are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our expanding production team in the Pudsey area. This role involves working with a variety of CNC equipment, producing precision components to exacting standards. The ideal candidate will be confident setting machines from scratch, adjusting offsets, and interpreting complex engineering drawings. You will play a key part in maintaining high-quality output, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring efficient throughput in a busy manufacturing environment.
CNC Machinist Responsibilities:-

Set, operate, and program CNC machines, including working with Mazatrol controls.

Perform dry running to validate tool paths, check clearances, and prevent collisions.
*
Read and interpret engineering drawings, tooling sheets, and work instructions.
*
Carry out machine setups, tool changes, offsets, and in-process inspection.
*
Work to tight tolerances and maintain high-quality standards.
*
Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments.
*
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work area.
CNC Machinist Requirements
*
Proven CNC machining experience, ideally including Mazak/Mazatrol.
*
Strong understanding of machining principles and cutting tools.
*
Ability to identify and correct issues during dry runs.
*
Confident reading technical drawings and using measuring equipment.
*
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
*
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or within a team.
CNC Machinist Details:-
Shift: Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm / 8:00am - 4.30pm / Variable afternoon shift
Pay: £32,000 - £36,500 PA
