CNC Machinists & Manual Machinists - Multiple Roles Available (PAYE Contract)
Location: Titchfield, near Fareham, Hampshire
Contract Type: PAYE (to December 2025, likely extension)
About the Roles
We are expanding our team and have multiple contract vacancies available for experienced machinists within our well-equipped manufacturing facility in Titchfield, Hampshire. This includes CNC and manual machining roles across a range of equipment.
These positions are offered on a PAYE contract basis, with likely extensions

CNC Turning: HT42 Hardinge Conquest Lathe (x2)
NC Turning: Alpha Harrison (x2)
CNC Milling: Mori Seiki NV (x1)
CNC Grinding (x2)
Citizen Sliding Head (x1)
Manual Machinist / Toolmaker (x2)
CNC Machining Centre with Fastems: Mori Seiki NH5000 (x2)
Deburring (x1)
Key Skills and Responsibilities
Depending on the specific role, duties may include:
Setting and operating CNC lathes, mills, grinders, or sliding head machines
Working from engineering drawings and work instructions
Recording and interpreting SPC data
Using precision measuring equipment (verniers, micrometers, plug gauges)
Performing manual machining, toolmaking, and deburring tasks
Maintaining safe working practices and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
Experience Required
Proven machining experience in a relevant role
CNC machinists: experience on relevant machines (e.g. Mori Seiki NH5000, Hardinge Conquest, Citizen Sliding Head, etc.)
Experience with Fastems systems for CNC Machining Centre roles preferred
Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
Competence in recording SPC data and using precision measuring tools
Apprenticeship or equivalent practical experience
Aerospace, defence, or regulated industry background desirable
Right to work in the UK and eligible for ITAR-controlled work
Hours
Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am - 4:15 pm
Friday: 7:30 am - 11:30 am
PAYE Pay Rates
First 12 Weeks:
Basic: £18.09 (£20.72 inc. hol)
Overtime: £27.13 (£31.07 inc. hol)
Sundays: £36.17 (£41.43 inc. hol)
After 12 Weeks:
Basic: £18.64 (£21.35 inc. hol)
Overtime: £27.95 (£32.02 inc. hol)
Sundays: £37.27 (£42.69 inc. hol)
