Role: CNC Machinist – £38,000 per annum
Location: Bradford
Hours: Monday – Thursday 07:30 – 16:30, Friday 07:30 – 14:00
Overtime available | 30 days holiday | Excellent culture
Our client, a well-established engineering firm based in Bradford with over 25 years of industry experience, is expanding its team and looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join their thriving operation.

Their advanced machinery includes Hwacheon AYC 450 and Doosan DNM 650 models, allowing for efficient and accurate production. They offer full-service capabilities, from CAD design through to machining and fabrication.
The Role
As a CNC Machinist, you’ll play a key role in delivering precision engineering solutions. You’ll be expected to work independently, managing machine setup and operation while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Set up, program, and operate CNC machines safely and efficiently
*
Ensure machinery operates to optimum performance
*
Interpret technical drawings and machining requirements
*
Maintain compliance with quality control standards
*
Use measuring tools to ensure component accuracy
*
Understand the specifications and expected outcomes for each task
What We’re Looking For:
*
Fully trained in CNC and manual lathe/milling machine operations
*
Strong understanding of machining principles
*
Confident in online programming and editing (Fanuc, Siemens, XYZ controls)
*
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
*
Experience with CAD/CAM software (AutoCAD, OneCNC) is an advantage
*
Apprenticeship-trained preferred, but relevant experience will be considered
*
Forklift licence beneficial
