Job Description
We currently have a permanent position available for a competent CNC Turner to programme, set and operate HAAS CNC lathes with Fanuc controllers. You will be working on days producing small batches for the company’s own products so must be prepared to do lots of set up work.
Some milling experience would be great, but we can manage with a Turner if that’s all you do but do it well.
Duties:
Reading Engineering drawings
Programming using G+M codes on Fanuc controls
Selection of tooling
Set up of machine to produce close tolerance components
Using measuring instruments such as Micrometers and calipers
Deburr components if required
Maintain M/C coolant levels and general cleanliness of machine and working area
Any other duties within your capability i.e assist with assembly if needed.
The company are well-established and friendly.
Hours of work:
7:00am to 3:30pm Monday to Thursday
7:00am to 2:30pm Friday
Some flexibility around start and finish to suit the individual is available
