Job Description
My client are one of the leading providers of bespoke purpose built furniture to national housebuilders throughout the UK. Due to rapid expansion and new customer wins they have an opening for an machinist to join their supportive and friendly team. They have just invested in a new CNC Machine and seeking an experienced operator who is able to program, set and operate.
Responsibilities
* Read and understand technical drawings and specifications
* Set and operate the CNC Machine - Pegasus ATC CNC Router (Pegasus 2030)
* Confident in using hand tools, power tools and machinery including panel saws, band edge saw and spindles
* Conducting quality checks and maintaining high standards
* Maintaining a clean and tidy workplace
* Following site health & safety procedures
* Maintaining machinery including cleaning, lubricating and inspecting equipment for wear & tear
* Supporting on site with assembly and installations as and when required
Skills/Experience Required
* Previous experience in wood machinery / joinery processes
* CNC experience essential
* Programming experience desirable
* Experienced in using hand tools
* Problem solving and attention to detail
Monday – Friday 07.00 – 16.30 - Overtime available and paid at a premium of T ½ after standard working hoursBefore You Apply
