Alecto Recruitment is working with our client, a well-established and highly regarded precision engineering company within the Kent area, known for producing high-quality components across a range of industries.
This represents an exciting opportunity to join a busy and growing workshop within a stable business that continues to invest in its machinery, workforce, and ongoing training.
A great stand-out in this role is the opportunity to work in a modern machining environment, with structured support to develop programming skills and gain further experience on FANUC-controlled machinery.
Salary & Benefits:
Salary - £17.00 - £21.00 per hour (DOE)

The Role:
Set, operate, and (where possible) programme CNC lathes using FANUC controls
Load raw materials and components onto machines
Interpret technical drawings to manufacture parts to specification
Monitor machining processes and make adjustments where required
Carry out routine machine checks and ensure optimal performanceRequirements:
Experience setting and operating CNC machines (lathes preferred)
Working knowledge of FANUC controls
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Confident using precision measuring equipment
Knowledge of tolerances, geometry, and surface finishes
