The Role

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join an engineering team. The role involves developing, programming, and optimising CNC machines to produce high-quality components.

Set up CNC machines, including milling, turning and other machining equipment, ensuring accurate calibration and alignment
Operate CNC machinery to produce high quality components according to technical drawings and specifications
Adjust programmes as necessary to optimise machining processes and improve efficiency
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting on CNC equipment
Handle materials safely, including loading raw materials and managing tooling requirements
Use hand tools and basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checksAbout You

Proven experience in CNC machining within an engineering or manufacturing environment
Experience using Prototrak, Siemens, Fanuc and Winmax
Strong mechanical knowledge of tooling, fixtures, and programming
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
Competent using hand tools and carrying out precise measurements
