CNC Miller – Heidenhain Control
Our well-established client is currently seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join their team. This is a hands-on and diverse role involving the manufacture of various food processing equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Program, set, and operate CNC machining centres using Heidenhain
* Work primarily with stainless steel materials.
* Read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Use appropriate measuring tools and inspection equipment.
* Understand and work within specified tolerances, performing self-checks on completed work.
* Collaborate with the shop floor team to ensure smooth workflow and support activities relating to Health & Safety, Production, Inspection, and Discipline.
Requirements:
* Proven experience with CNC Milling and Heidenhain controls.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong understanding of engineering principles and production standards.
* City & Guilds qualifications or an Apprenticeship in Engineering would be advantageous.
Working Hours:
* 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
* Morning break: 10:00am – 10:10am
* Lunch break: 1:00pm – 1:30pm
A reasonable amount of overtime is expected to meet production requirements
