Job Description
A global specialist precision manufacturing organisation located in Portsmouth are currently recruiting for a CNC Miller to join their late shift on a permanent basis.
Hours;
Monday – Wednesday 15:30 – 01:30
Thursday 15:30 – 23:30
(36 hour week)
Working in a high precision, professional environment the key responsibilities of the role include:
* To operate and run CNC milling machines (Bridgeport/Heidenhain control)
* Be able to read geometric drawings
* Have good communication skills.
* Be able to read and use measuring instruments.
* Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
* Documents actions by completing production and quality logs
* Control tolerances given on drawings
* Be able to operate other machine shop equipment performing simple tasks ie. Pillar drills, manual mills
To be considered for the position of CNC Miller candidates will have proven experience setting and operating mills and, will have experience working to tight tolerances (micron level). Any exposure to Bridgeport / Heidenhain controls would be highly advantageous but not essentialBefore You Apply
