5 Axis CNC Millers – Precision Engineering
Salary – DOE
Location – Basildon
Our client are a leading engineering company located in Basildon, serving the aerospace, and defence manufacturing. We are recruiting a number of Millers to operate within our clients 5-axis CNC department.
Roles Available:
* Setter/Operators – Must have strong experience with Fanuc controls and 5-axis CNC milling.
* Programmer – Skilled in Hypermill programming with proven experience in setting and operating 5-axis machining centres.
What You’ll Need:
* Demonstrated expertise in 5-axis CNC milling within a precision engineering environment.
* Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
* Solid understanding of tooling, fixtures, and machining strategy to deliver tight tolerances.
* Proactive approach to quality control and continuous improvement.
* For the programming role: advanced knowledge of Hypermill CAM software and ability to optimise cutting strategies.
