Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machinist with hands-on experience operating and programming Fanuc OR Haas-controlled machines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC milling machines to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC milling machines with Fanuc and Haas controls
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
Load materials and tooling, set tool offsets, and perform initial test runs
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
Make program edits and adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency
Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools
Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with company safety policies
Collaborate with engineers and production staff to resolve machining issuesRequirements:
Strong understanding of G-code and CNC programming principles
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics
Proficient with precision measurement tools
Knowledge of shop math (geometry, trigonometry)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High school diploma or equivalent; technical/trade certification a plusPreferred Qualifications:
Experience with multi-axis milling (3-axis, 4-axis, or 5-axis)
Familiarity with CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360)
