CNC Machinist/Programmer - XYZ Milling Machines

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist/Programmer to program, set, and operate our XYZ machining centres equipped with Siemens controls, as well as our XYZ SMX milling machines.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who can work independently, take ownership of their projects, and ensure high standards of precision and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Programming, setting, and operating XYZ CNC machining centres
Using Siemens control systems to create and adjust CNC programs
Operating XYZ SMX milling machines as required
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Performing quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance
Collaborating with the team to improve processes and reduce waste
Requirements
Proven experience with CNC milling, ideally using XYZ machines
Strong knowledge of Siemens CNC controls
Ability to read technical drawings and work to tight tolerances
Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision
Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Benefits
Competitive hourly pay (£17.00 - £18.00 per hour)
38.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday schedule
