Job Description
An established precision engineering firm is currently seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join their manufacturing team. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering a great work/life balance with a 4-day working week (Monday to Thursday).
Salary:
£34,000 – £36,000 per annum, depending on experience
Hours & Shift Pattern:
Monday to Thursday, 07:30 – 17:30 (Day Shift Only)

The Role:
As a CNC Miller, you’ll be programming, setting, and operating 3- and 4-axis machining centres (predominantly Doosan) to produce precision-engineered components for a range of industry sectors. This role suits someone with a strong CNC background and a desire to work in a clean, modern, and well-equipped workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manufacture of precision-engineered components for various industries
* Involvement in both routine production and specialist project work
* Working from engineering drawings to close tolerances
* Maintaining high quality and safety standards at all times
Key Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in CNC milling
* Ability to program, set and operate CNC machines
* Experience with Fanuc controls
* Comfortable producing one-off, small, medium, and large batch components
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
