CNC Miller
Salary: £35,000–£45,000+ Benefits
Hours: 39/week (Mon–Thurs 6:45–3:30, Fri 7:00–1:00)
Location: Lymington
Join our team producing high-value precision components for diverse industries. You’ll program, set, and operate 3, 4 & 5 axis CNC milling machines, interpret technical drawings, and consistently deliver work to quality standards, following job instructions and production requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Program, set, and operate CNC mills
Evaluate blueprints and set up sheets for machining operations
Support new product introduction and process improvements
Train and hand over processes to other team members
Ensure quality, safety, and continuous process control
Conduct daily machine maintenance and take accurate measurements
Requirements:
Experience in precision manufacturing
Strong ability to read engineering drawings and work instructions
Skilled with CNC programming, setup and operation
Mechanical engineering apprenticeship completed
Right to work in the UK
Knowledge of Mazak, Heidenhain, Fanuc controls, modern tooling, H&S practices
