Position: CNC setter
Type of role: permanent
Salary: £36000 to £38000 per annum
Location: Quedgeley
Working week: Day shift 7am-4pm Monday to Thursday 7am-1pm Friday.
We are now seeking to recruit CNC milling setter operator to work for a subcon machine workshop based in Gloucester.
Responsibilities:
Setting and Operating CNC milling machines with Haas controls
Setting operating VF2,VF4,VF5,UMC 500 machines
Perform first-off inspections and complete quality documentation.
Leverage your machine shop experience to deliver top-quality results.
Use precision measurement equipment to ensure accuracy.
Requirements:
Minimum qualification of NVQ LEVEL 3 or HNC
Minimum of 5 years’ experience would prefer 10 years.
Needs to understand G codes and M codes.
Experience on HAAS machines.
Able to read and check parts to drawing.
Able to deburr competently.
Worked in subcontract environment.
