Job Description
Due to a continued growth we are recruiting an experienced CNC Miller to join our leading client based in Bradford on a permanent Night Shift basis.
Successful candidates will be time served to ensure that jobs are manufactured in accordance with supplied technical drawings and specifications however those with demonstrable work experience will be considered.
Candidates will be required to set and operate a range of CNC Millers/ Machining Centres utilising Fanuc and Haas controls. (Strong editing experience is advantageous) to work on a range of materials including a range of Steels, Castings and Forgins
Hours - 39 hours per week – Monday – Thursday (Apply online only)
Overtime paid at premium rates.
The Ideal candidates will have :
* Set and operate CNC machining centres twin pallet horizontal (Okuma)and vertical (Cincinatti and Haas). Make up tooling as required. Program amendments will be required.
* Precision machining of bores, faces, diameters of steel and cast components in the manufacture of gears, shafts, casings and gearbox components. Low volume, high variety.
* Familiar with the use of micrometers, height and air gauges, etc to measure dimensions and form
* Logging production, SPC and data capture where necessary.
* Participate in continuous improvement activities
* Use of manual universal mill, manual drill and other ancillary equipment
Candidate Skills
* Ideally Time-served with demonstrable experience Setting and Operating CNC Miller/s Machining Centres working to very tight tolerances using Fanuc / Haas Controls.
* Experience Editing programmes using Fanuc/ Haas controls
* Experience working with a range of materials, castings Forgings would be advantageous
