Position: CNC Miller Programmer - Nights
Location: Tamworth
Salary: £40,000 - £52,000 p.a
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 10-hour night shift (40 hours per week)
About the Role We’re looking for a CNC Miller to join a precision engineering company producing complex, high-quality components for industries such as aerospace, motorsport, automotive, and oil & gas.
You’ll be responsible for programming, setting, and operating 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC milling machines, ensuring all components are manufactured to tight tolerances within a modern, well-equipped workshop.
Key Responsibilities
Program, set and operate CNC milling machines using Heidenhain and/or Fanuc controls
Use EdgeCAM or Fusion 360 (other CAM systems considered)
Adjust offsets, prove programs, and correct machining errors
Work across multiple machines to meet production and quality targets
Support continuous improvement and maintain a safe, organised workspaceRequirements
Apprenticeship-trained or qualified by experience
Skilled in Heidenhain or Fanuc programming and precision machining
Experience using CAD/CAM software (EdgeCAM, Fusion 360 or similar)
Able to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
